Kiana and Paige's Day

I really want the students to be in charge of this blog. I decided that I would check out my camera to one or two kids each day. Today was Kiana and Pagie's day. This is what they came up with. I think that they did a great job!

I promise that they were not really asleep!

Jr. Achievement

We had awesome parent volunteers that did our "Jr. Achievement" lessons this year. We loved having Meleseini's parents in our classroom. Thanks Again!!

This a picture of the "town" that our class designed.

St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day was so fun! Everyone in our class wore green, and a ton of it! We did a fun graphing activity with the marshmallows from a box of Lucky Charms. Mrs. Mower did a writing activity with the students about why they thought that they we lucky and we even had Larry the Leprechaun come to our class. He made a big mess but left treats so everyone was happy. Maybe next year we will catch him!!

Hi Students,

I am so excited that Mrs. Easton has set up a class blog. I want to remind you about our guest speaker we had on Wednesday, March 18, Mr. Nelson Akagi. I cannot believe that he is 86 years old! He has had a very interesting life and I am glad he shared so much of it with us. You all were such a perfect and respectful audience. I hope we can all remember his message about treating each other nicely and "Going for Broke" by giving our best effort in all we do.
